Following a weekend showing on the Continent, Chris and Paul Berens-Scott brought their magnificent coach and team of Cleveland Bays from Luxembourg to the Suffolk Show. They are pictured here taking part in the Coaching parade and Horn-blowing competition on Thursday, 28th May. The horn-blower is Bob Elliott, well known in British coach driving circles, from Truro. Drawing the 130 year old American coach are three pure and one part-bred Cleveland Bays. The left leader is Penrhyn Jovinius, the right leader Eden Valley Aristotle. The right wheeler is Penrhyn Claudius and his partner on the left is the part-bred Bryllwelyn Yabadabado (by Runswick Special Edition out of Grace ID/TB) who stands 186 cm high.
This beautifully presented veteran part-bred, Gorwell Dancemaster, by Signalman out of Guisnes Rapunzel and ridden by Jo Davie won the Blue Sash for Best Turned Out (Kindly sponsored by Shaw & Co.)
