Following our report of the success of Hawlmark Classic Twilight * at the 2011 Royal Highland Show in June, we were delighted to discover another two Cleveland Bays in the RH results. Vicky Grant's seven year old Blackclough Kilkerry was placed 4th in class 450, Hunter Brood Mare with foal at foot. Kilkerry is by Oaten Tops'l out of Whippletree May Belle. The foal at foot was Vicky's pure home-bred Middlebank High Chance (also known as Seve, because he was born the day after the golfing legend Seve died). He is by Highpasture Fellowship and was placed 5th, in the In Hand Foal class. As a new owner and first time breeder, Vicky was excited by the outcome, particularly as neither she nor the horses had ever done a showing class before! Of course, Seve behaved impeccably!

Two months later, Vicky and her two horses took to the show ring again. This time it was at the Perth Show on 5th August where they achieved two red rosettes from the Broodmare and In Hand Foal class.
