SCBC Show 2010

As always, our Chairman, Sue Cutts provided the warmest of welcomes to the Southern Cleveland Bay Club Breed Show at Folds Farm on Saturday 24th July.   On a fine warm and sunny day, the field included some familiar and several new faces – and horses!  We had expected the coaching horses of Paul and Chris Berens-Scott from Luxembourg to join us.   Unfortunately, they suffered a gearbox malfunction that left them with only 2nd gear on the horsebox.   Then they were stuck on the M25 car park where traffic was snarled up due to the Farnborough Air Show and only arrived at Folds Farm at 5 o’clock.   By then, the horses were ready to enjoy a good gallop around their overnight field!
