We regret that due to a technical fault in the scanning of these archive pictures you may notice some blotching artifacts. It may be possible to re-scan at a later date.
The black and white photographs were taken by John Green in 1980 when the King George V was held at Wetherby Racecourse and Miss Marygold Nixey's Gerrick Majesty won for the third time. The two coloured photographs were taken the following year when the KGV moved to Rufforth Park near York and Storth House Temptation won for the first of four triumphs. When we first created this archive only some of the pictures were captioned. Thanks to diligent research by Maggie and Maurice Brown we have been able to identify most of the photographs.
